Empowered Productivity Online Training
Redesign of video-based online training program
When Maura Thomas, productivity expert, contacted me about redesigning her online training program, she had a series of videos about her Empowered Productivity System that she wanted to turn into a more robust online training program. Through my work on this project, we transitioned the set of videos into a comprehensive, self-guided online learning program.
As part of this project, I refined the videos and created a set of consistent, on-brand images for the video overly, developed learner materials such as a Participant Workbook, Participant Roadmap, and other resources, and created a consistent look and feel for all other supporting materials. To ensure an actionable learner experience, I included reflection questions and activities for the video lessons so that each learner had a clear path to applying the content to his/her life.

Content creation, design, and development of customizable leadership program
For this project I was given a 7-slide outline of a presentation and turned it into a full-day program with robust content and learning activities. All materials were designed so that they could be mixed and matched to create a variety of custom, 3-hour interactive presentations, narrowed down to the topics that best fit the audience’s desired objectives.
Program files included a robust, custom-designed PowerPoint presentation on-brand with the client’s marketing, customizable accompanying participant packet, and handouts to support any program activities or exercises.
Hiring Manager Training
Design and development of all materials for a 4-hour recruiting training program
My client came to me for this project with a PowerPoint presentation she had created over five years ago. She needed a new look/feel that matched her brand, enhanced and streamlined content, and supporting materials for a 4-hour training.
I designed a PowerPoint to match her brand, as well as organized and developed content as needed to match her end user needs. I created a participant handout packet that included highlights from the training and takeaway resource materials to support learning recall.

For this client I helped with some content writing to boost her online contributions. In one instance, I also had the opportunity to develop an infographic to accompany one of those articles.
Emergenetics Innovation Workshop
Content creation and development of all materials for a half-day follow-on workshop
When I was hired to be part of the Emergenetics team, I was brought on in part to develop new programs to deepen learning of the Emergenetics Profile. While I inherited a working draft of some programs, the Innovation workshop was a program I developed from scratch. Materials for this program included a PowerPoint, Facilitator Guide and Participant Manual.
The Facilitator Guide shown here includes screenshots of the PowerPoint presentation, talking points and guiding information for the slide, and an appendix of handouts provided during the session; the Participant Manual displays the participant experience.
Girl Scout Brownie Poster
Designed and developed poster for my Girl Scout Troop
And sometimes I get to apply my Instructional Design background to my volunteer endeavors.
I lead a Girl Scout Brownie troop and this year created a poster that we could display at each meeting to remind our girls of important information for our troop.
